SELL: SEPAM 100 S01 LA X01 XX1 TXN MERLIN GERIN. Sepam 100 LA is used as the main
protection system relay in substations which do not have an auxiliary power supply source. Combined with a Sepam 1000 or Sepam 2000, it provides back-up protection for the substation incomers.
This protection goes into effect when the main protection chain fails due to:
- power supply fault,
- wiring fault,
- trip unit fault,
- shutdown of Sepam 1000 or Sepam 2000.
Advantages:
- Protection against low-value phase and earth faults,
- Self-powering: Sepam 100 LA is powered by the current sensors,
- May be put in disabled status (inactive output) via an external inhibition contact,
- Tripping by a low power-consuming «MITOP» trip unit (1).
- High level of immunity to electromagnetic disturbances.
